Lead by multi-instrumentalist Rob Smoughton (Hot Chip, Scritti Politti), Black Peaches dazzling second album ‘Fire in The Hole’ garnered five-star reviews and featured in several Best of 2019 lists, including Uncut Magazine and BBC 6 Music.

“Black Peaches existed inside me before I was aware of it,” says Rob Smoughton, “it’s the culmination and continuation of the music I love. I started to notice how Brazilian rhythm, funk, soul, classic country and pop were all combining in the music I was writing.”

‘Fire in The Hole’ absorbs all the tropical sounds, glistening melodies and funk-ridden grooves into a sound that is truly their own.  It is an immaculately sequenced album that has one foot in the swamp and one firmly on the dance floor.
